Ok, quick entry before Shane gets here... I'm going to San Fran on tuesday! w00tw00t! Anyways, this was my mini thought. Tash agrees. My theory is we were separated at birth, or there is some sort of quasi-Chrysalids plot afoot. Anyways, observe.

i think our brains are superdeveloped. we dont link something someone says to one idea, and then continue to listen with rapt attention, formulating only small ideas that are related as they talk. we think of one idea, relative to something they say, and then stop giving them our full attention. we develop the idea we have, and then vocalize the result of the thought process.

so it isnt that we are just complete dumbasses, it is that we allow our thought processes to come to fruition, unlike other people, who choose a logical linear pattern of thought. we put more faith in our minds. which is hillarity, since we are so lazy. perhaps we find the things we learn irrelevant and distant, and want to discover the depths of our own minds rather than only think about things that have been thought of by others.
